About Lando

Would you get a look at those ears? Lando has a personality as unique as his fantastic coat; he is arguably one of the coolest-looking dogs around. His ears alone are more than ready to listen to your next story while you're cruising around town. Goofy, energetic and a huge fan of toys, Lando is pretty easy to please. He is undoubtedly one of our favorite dogs to try new things and skills with as his earnestness and (sometimes) clumsiness means you will be entertained for hours. Found as a stray in Yonkers, Lando arrived at the local shelter there. He eventually made his way to our shelter so that we could start giving him the training and extra care he needed to start his journey to finding a family of his own. Our volunteers and staff have made sure that Lando is always on the go, and weekly car rides to grab a McDonald's burger coupled with tug or agility in the yard is part of his daily routine. Now he just needs to find a drive-thru buddy of his own! Lando is part of our Diamonds in the Ruff program, which means that his future family would be getting a fantastic dog that already has the training and skills he needs to transition successfully into a home.
