About Duce

Duce (about 1 yr old as of 07/2016) is a neutered, male, grey tabby, short-haired cat. Duce was caught during a big trapping of free-roaming cats in Waukegan. Duce was one of the oldest kittens caught and is understandably still very shy. He will probably never be a very outgoing cat with new people and places, but he loves being pet by people he trusts and has become very affectionate. Duce is very submissive, gets along great with other cats and will do best in a home with at least one other playful cat to keep him company. He is also used to a calm big dog but since he is a little more shy we think he'd do better without big or hyper dogs and without very small children who couldn't be quiet around him and give him time to warm up to them.
