About ANNIE

annie was a stray down in the lower 9th ward. local kids seemed to adore her and they would often paint her toenails. however, she was homeless and running the streets until a contractor friend of mine took her in. sadly, he already had several dogs and was unable to keep her. he called me out here in mandeville and brought her to me. my names Dean and im with St Tammany Animal Resource Team (S.T.A.R.T.) i have been fostering her now for over 2 years. we dont get alot of exposure except for about 3 or 4 hours each saturday when we set up our adoption event at petsmart of covington. this is such a shame because annie is the sweetest dog ever, loves giving kisses and lying next to me when we go to sleep at night. im reaching out here in the hopes of getting her more exposure. as soon as we can find her a great 'furever' home, the sooner i can rescue another dog thats in need of help
