About Penelope, Passed

Hello there, my name is Penelope! I sometimes go by Penny. I'm kind of fond of that. I feel like I'm one lucky Penny!! I had to be taken to the shelter because my senior owner and I had grown old together and he could no longer care for me. I am really wishing for my forever home. I think I would like to be in a home with kiddos 10 and older. I am an older lady and I am at an age where I want to eat my food and enjoy my chew bones in peace. I also think I would like to be the only dog in the house. Boisterous dogs can get on my nerves and I can get grumpy when telling them to calm down. I love, love, love people!! I got to go to Barnes and Noble for wrapping presents and it was one of my happiest days! I adored all the attention!! I am so excited to see my foster people when they come home. I buck, spin and cha-cha my feet so they know how happy I have to see them! Like many of us who live in this area, I have allergies. It's easy to manage though. I gobble up my allergy pill when it is tossed in with my morning and evening soup (kibble with water in it). I also take a joint supplement so I can still have fun feel like playing. I like hanging out with people. I prefer to be where you are and like sitting with my back up against your leg. Even though I am an older lady and my face looks like it's been dusted with powdered sugar, I still get the zoomies and love it when you play with me. I love playing with toys too. I like to set them up on the coffee table and couch, pretend I can't see it, then grab them quickly and give them a shake. Going on walks makes me very happy.
