Clarence came to us by way of the county shelter, where he was about to be euthanized because lack of space. Our boy is one of the lucky ones - we scooped him up and gave him his 2nd Chance. Clarence is a great dog; we think he suffers from 'Brown Dog Syndrome' - similar to black dogs - he just gets passed up because he is one of many, many brown dogs out there. But we can tell you that Clarence is a special boy. Loving, extremely devoted, and a bit of a clown; he would do best as an only dog. Since he has been in rescue for a few years, we are offering the assistance of a trainer to help integrate him into a home environment for free, to his adoptive family. Note from Clarence: At 7 years old, I still have plenty of energy to be your hiking buddy...playing in the water and taking car rides are just a few of my favorite things to do. I am neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated. If you are interested in meeting me, please fill out an Adoption Consultation Application! I am so ready for a forever home! http://2ndchance.rescuegroups.org/animals/detail?AnimalID=2086585
