About Clarence

Clarence came to us by way of the county shelter, where he was about to be euthanized because lack of space. Our boy is one of the lucky ones - we scooped him up and gave him his 2nd Chance. Clarence is a great dog; we think he suffers from 'Brown Dog Syndrome' - similar to black dogs - he just gets passed up because he is one of many, many brown dogs out there. But we can tell you that Clarence is a special boy. Loving, extremely devoted, and a bit of a clown; he would do best as an only dog. Since he has been in rescue for a few years, we are offering the assistance of a trainer to help integrate him into a home environment for free, to his adoptive family. Note from Clarence: At 7 years old, I still have plenty of energy to be your hiking buddy...playing in the water and taking car rides are just a few of my favorite things to do.
