Meet Beethoven. Adopt A Pit rescued Beethoven from the shelter as a tiny puppy. The backyard breeder that dumped him there didn't think they'd be able to sell a deaf puppy. But Beethoven's deafness doesn't hinder him from doing anything but ignoring your scolding when he's not looking at you. He is the biggest lover you'll ever meet, quick to give kisses and jump into an empty lap. He is eager to please and has learned sign language, and will do just about anything to earn a treat, or for a tennis ball. He's also incredibly smart, so if you're looking for a dog to teach complicated tricks, he's your boy! Beethoven would also make a great agility dog. So many of our adopters overlook Beethoven because of his deafness, but when you meet him you realize that it's not a big deal. It's just part of who he is and you'll find you love him anyway. Beethoven has been with us about 2 years now. It's time for him to find his forever family. Beethoven does need to be an only dog and needs to be in a home without cats. But that's just another reason for him to soak up all of your attention. Will you give Beethoven a chance? Beethoven is house broken and crate trained, current on all vaccinations, microchipped, neutered, and heartworm tested. His adoption fee is $175.
