About Cookie

Hi! My name is Cookie. I'm a 10 year old pit bull beagle mix. How funny is that! I look like a big ole stocky pit bull who sounds like a beagle! I'm a bit overweight but I'm trying to lose some of it. Who would of thought getting weight off would be such an ongoing ordeal! It's even harder because I have an under active thyroid, Even though I'm on daily pills it still doesn't help my weight issues. I've been told it's just more of me to love! I adore everyone I meet. I love kids, but being I'm older I really want a somewhat of a quiet home. I do well with cats, dogs on the other hand I just don't play well with. I'm house and crate trained, I love short walks, I would never make a running buddy I would get about a foot and refuse to go any farther. I'm told I'm pretty hard headed when I don't want to do something. I love to cuddle and car rides I ADORE! I would be perfectly happy if I could go everywhere possible with my family. I'm food motivated, yup, part of my weight issues as well. I know how to sit, stay, lay down, heel, and speak. In warmer weather I absolutely love being outside. I don't really need a fenced yard, I do perfect on a tie out...plus I can't run fast so I would be very easy to catch, should I make the decision to let my nose control where I'm headed. I'm updated on everything, microchipped, spayed and heartworm negative. I used to have heartworms years ago but they are long gone. I have quite a long sad history so if you want I know my foster mommy will tell you all about it. I would love so much to meet you and hopefully become an addition to your family. I really would like that after the hard life I've had with tons of heartbreak. So, please consider me, I promise I'll make you laugh and love you like no other! Love, Cookie P.S.
