About Scooter

Scooter found himself at the shelter after being picked up as a stray. He was adopted from us years ago, and his owner just gave him away. With his current owners unknown, his old owners not wanting him, he is again with us looking for his FOREVER home. He's about 9 years old, and still acts like a youngster. He weighs about 10-12 pounds. He does well with other dogs. He's friendly and will do well with kids. He's crate trained. He would love an semi active household, one that will make him part of their daily lives. He loves his people, and will want to be involved and do things with them. He's playful, walks nice on a leash, and does love his walks. He'd actually be great as an hiking buddy. If you are interested in giving Scooter a home he can call Forever, let us know!! We will be setting up meetings with a $50 deposit that goes towards your adoption fee if you adopt. We are also asking for video of interior and exterior of home in lieu of the homecheck. We are a FORCE FREE rescue. The adoption contract you will be signing specifically states that you agree to NEVER use any aversive methods nor tools like a shock, prong or choke collar. Please, consider everything when making a decision to adopt a dog. As part of your adoption package, each dog will be fully vaccinated (Da2PP, Rabies), have a microchip, and be spayed/neutered. You may need to come back to us to complete shots, spay or neuter, hw test.
