About Ivie and Mikey

The majority of the dogs we rescue, mostly breeder dogs, have lived their entire lives in less than ideal conditions so will need to be house and leash trained. Most have never lived in house, walked on a leash, had a treat or sat in a lap. For many of them, their feet have never touched the ground after living for years on wire until they arrive at our main facility where they are evaluated, groomed and given vet care. However, they will learn with time, love, patience and most of all, commitment. You must have an ample supply of all of these to reap the rewards of watching these very special dogs become your wonderful companion Hi! My name is Ivie and I am a 5 pound, 6 year old Yorkie mix who was dumped at the shelter when i was a baby. I am a little doll and love to give you Yorkie kisses. I had a family of my own with my brother Mikey, 6 years, 6 pounds, but sadly our daddy passed away and now our mommy has to move to IL to live with her daughter and we can't go. Please no kids in our new home; grandkids that visit are great, and a stay at home parent is a must! Lap and cuddle time is our favorite. We were very loved in our home for the past 6 years so if you want two little sweet peas, ask for us, Ivie and Mikey, on your application.
